Spinning Tops

Many people around St. Jacob have an interest in spinning tops. It is very historic, just like our congregation! Learning to throw them and perform some tricks with them has been a lot of fun! Here are some links to internet sites that have top information!!!

What a great night of spinning was had at the 8th annual Whirled Top Festival the last Saturday in August. For the first time we had the world champion of Top Spinning. The mayor of Miamisburg even declared it Matt Ritter Day! He came all the way from Florida and was a real treat to watch. Congratulations to Emanon who defended their title in battle tops. Congrats, also, to Alex Ayers who was declared the Ohio State Spin Top champion by virtue of his amazing tricks. See the pictures at the link below. Thanks, Jay, for doing our website. He even included some clips!
